The Arizona Snowbowl provides the highest points in Arizona to ski, located on the western slope of Mount Humphreys. Just 14 miles north of Flagstaff, it offers a straightfoward drive from Phoenix and other locations across the state. Located in the heart of the White Mountains, the Sunrise Park Resort is the largest resort in Arizona spread across three different mountain peaks: Apache, Sunrise and Cyclone. Being situated near the New Mexico border, it is more of a destination then a single day trip.

The southernmost ski destination in Continental United States, Mt Lemmon is located 40 miles from downtown Tucson. Although not as large as the other resorts, Ski Valley is considered a hidden gems by local, offering short, but fun runs with it’s myriad of trails. Note that Ski Valley relies on seasonal snow for skiing, but remains open all year.
