Arizona Balloon Festival
Saturday March 4th
The 6th annual Arizona Balloon Classic to benefit Ryan House will feature hot air balloons participating in “Hare & Hound” Races and evening “Glows”. You can even take a hot air balloon ride or a tethered ride. Enjoy the Family Fun Zone with activities for the entire family as well as a food court with festival favorites, retail vendors, live music, shopping and more. One day tickets are $15 at the gate. Active Military and Children 12 & under are free. Parking is $10. This is event takes place at the Phoenix Events and Sports Complex. More details can be found at www.abcfest.com.
Queen Creek Block Party
A big block party, free of charge and loaded with entertainment. This year’s theme is “All Things Extreme”. With Stunt Masters on half pipes, ramps and rails- this highly flying fun will be a crowd favorite. Best of all, you can learn how to do this yourself. There will be instructors teaching people the basics of something that not only leaves the audience in awe — it also gives you an intense workout. This community event is free to attend but wristbands are needed to participate in the extreme fun zone and cost $15. The block party takes place on Ellsworth Road in downtown Queen Creek from noon-6pm. www.queencreek.org
McDowell Mountain Music Festival
The McDowell Mountain Music Festival has lined up an amazing assortment of talent this weekend at Margaret T. Hance Park. This festival was designed to promote three elements- Community Involvements, Corporate Participation and Charity. Ticket prices range from $35-$160 and is 100% non-profit.
